Submission Guidelines - Please Read BEFORE Submitting Your Site

IMPORTANT: TWBDir.com does not accept every submission. No matter whether you submit using a free or paid option, your site is reviewed by a human editor who will decide whether your site is worthy of a listing. We are not under any obligation to list your site. We do not provide refunds for paid submissions that are not accepted simply because you are paying for the work it takes to review your site. By submitting your site, you are acknowledging this.

Our Policy on Adult Sites:

We do accept some adult-related websites but these sites are carefully considered. Sites full of pornographic links and pictures are highly likely to be declined. If however your site provides content we consider useful then your chances are good.

It is a good idea for you to consider the following guidelines as they will help you ensure your site gets the best opportunity for inclusion possible:

Category

Check that you have chosen a category you believe to be most relevant to your site's content. If you think there is no category your website fits into then submit to one of the main categories and we will create a sub-category for you if we consider it necessary.

If you submit to the wrong category your submission is likely to be declined. If we believe decide your site is better suited in another category, we reserve the right to move it.

URL

Please submit the entire URL that you want us to use as your link. Yes, we do include links to subdomains and internal pages of your site (as well as homepages) providing you opt for the reciprocal link or paid options. 'Free' submissions (non-reciprocal) are only allowed to submit the site's homepage.

Please note, we will only add one link per site for 'free' and 'reciprocal' submissions. If you require multiple links, please use our paid options but be warned that we do not accept spam so spend your money carefully.

Email

If you use a free email address (like Yahoo! or Hotmail) we will be checking your submission more carefully.

Title

If you are making a 'free' submission, you are required to use your business/website name - NO EXTRA KEYWORDS. Other submissions ('reciprocal', 'paid' and 'sponsor') can use keywords in the title. Please use a title that is descriptive of your site. Although we do recommend using keywords in your site title there is a limit so submit wisely. We reserve the right to modify your title as we see fit. If your submitted title is too long, we will reduce it. We recommend using no more then 7 words total for your title.

Description

Please do not fill your description with lots of hype. You no doubt have already submitted to numerous other directories so you know how it goes. Also, do not repeat your title in the description and do not submit a list of keywords (there is a keywords field later).

Link Type

We usually offer 4 link types. Please note that depending on our work load, we may need to disable certain link options to prevent too many submission from piling up. Check out the 'PROS' and 'CONS' for each submission type.

'Free'

Use this option if you want us to get your site added with no backlink or payment obligation. Please note that these submissions are given the lowest priority by out editors and the time it takes for them to be added will depend on our work load. If you need a quick addition, use one of the other three submission options.
PROS: It's free so you have no obligations except meeting our guidelines.
CONS: Your title is limited to your website/business name - we won't accept extra keywords. You will be given the lowest priority. The slowest way to get listed. You can only submit your homepage. Only one link per website is allowed.
NOTE: We only offer this submission option periodically when we do not have too many sites waiting to be reviewed.

'Reciprocal'

You are required to provide a link back to http://www.twbdir.com/ (link code is provided on the URL submission page). If you select this option and fail to link back to our site then your site is automatically declined. We use an automatic script that instantly checks whether you have linked to TWBDIR.com from the URL you specify so be sure to add our link before submitting your site.
PROS: It's free and faster then the 'Free' option. You get to use keywords in your title. You can be listed using an internal page or a subdomain. You can link to TWBDIR.com from another website providing the page you link from is indexed by search engines.
CONS: Slower inclusion then the paid options. Only one link per website is allowed.

'Paid'

A one time low fee for your site to be included. Your site has no listing priority over the free options.

'Sponsored'

This paid option allows you to get your site listed above submissions made using the other options. You submission is also in a highlighted box and your link is bolded.

Reciprocal Link URL

If you choose the 'Reciprocal' submission option you must provide the URL of the page where we can see our link posted. Our script will immediately check the URL you provide here to see if our link has been added. You should link to our site before you submit your website to our directory or your submission may be declined.

You can link to our site from a different site then you one you are submitting. We require that the page you link to us from is indexed by the search engines.

NOTE: If you attempt to hide our link by using javascripts, redirects, nofollow tags, etc your submission will definitely be declined no matter how great your site is!!!

Copy and paste the link code provided exactly to your URL to ensure your site is accepted.
